the King of Shadows had long ago hunted down the last dragon, a blue scaled wonder, named Jishakin. or so they thought. a few dragons remain, in hiding, holding thier human forms for too long, and never showing thier lustrous scales, thier bright glowing eyes. the only way to find these dragons, is to see the fire burning deep within thier eyes. many were found this way, but a few remain, waiting for the day when the courageous one, and the one that becomes her closest friend and confident, of the old legends would come, and free them thedark shadow of the Tyranny of the King. Sevina Dragonsong is one of those remaining dragons, and is starting to rebel.

Sevina was snarling, tugging and pulling against the chains secured around her ankles and wrists. "I WILL NOT GO WITH YOU!!! unless I get to behead that dumb goatskin oaf everyone calls a king. I am a free-flyer, a dragon! not a bumbling puppy-dog fool!" she started to go into her dragon form, wincing at the shocks from the chains as her energy level rose. she stared defiantly back at the crowd gathered, and leveled her head, showing her pride would not be lowered by them, not even flinching as the things the crowd threw hit her. she closed her ears and mind to the shouted comments. "die, you fucking dragon!" "go away! why did dragons ever exist!" she stood still, refusing to move as the whip fell, and the people tried to force her forward. she stood, defiantly, as the lash cut into her skin repeatedly over and over, barely disguising the pain from her eyes. she had had this several times over the last few days as they marched her to the capital to destroy her, one of the last dragons. she started to cry silently, from both pain, and a deep instinctual sadness for the dieing race of her own, the majestic dragons, the protectors and destroyers both. then she looked up at the full moon in the sky, and asked herself in her mind, 'what happened to the legends of old?'

Seren appeared at Cecilia's home and Cecilia was laying in her white dragon form in a bed of flowers that perfectly formed around her and Seren goes, "Cecilia we must leave now?" Cecilia looked at Seren who was in her full metal and goes, "oh really? what for?" Seren then goes, "It is Sevina, she is in trouble." Before Seren could get out the she is in trouble part Cecilia had already taken flight in mid air with Sevina behind her. Cecilia was flying fast as Seren in her metal dragon form came to fly beside her.

Just then Cecilia began to see the humans trying to kill Sevina. Cecilia then blew fire making it circle around Sevina. Cecilia then goes, "come near her again and the fire will burn to a crisp." The crowd looked up at the metal dragon and the white dragon and goes, "who are you to tell us to do?" Cecilia then goes, "Cecilia Rose Demonic Princess that is who." The crowd began to look at her with fear in their heart as she landed and Seren turned to her half human dragon form. Cecilia stayed in her white dragon form.

A human came up behind Seren grabbing her wanting to hurt her and when he did Seren put his wings in his chest killing him instantly. Then she flipped him over her head pulling her wings out of his chest. Just as the crowd began to dumbly try and attack Sevina again Cecilia then used the fire and sent it all spinning it around burning all the humans to a crisp. Cecilia then goes, "never mess with the power of a demon. When we say we are going to burn you to a crisp, we mean it!! Dumb humans!"

She then turned to Sevina and goes, "how are you my dragon sister?" She said as all dragons were like family to each other.

Sevina looked up at Cecilia, "I am not alone, that is how I am, dear Dragon-Sister." she smiled, though blood ran in rivulets down her body, her torn and ragged clothes not hiding it at all. "I am not alone, I am not the last dragon, as I had thought. there is hope in the Old Legends still..." she swayed sightly. "not... the.....last...... dragon........" she collapsed, watching the pretty purple and blue stars fly across the blurred white background of Cecilia (in other words, she's seeing stars). she laughed in joy as the blood from her whip injuries pooled around her. "not alone.. not alone..."

Cecilia smiled and caught Sevina as she landed on her back. Seren got on Cecilia's back as well so she could hold Sevina onto Cecilia's black. Cecilia then took off and headed home. She managed to get home very quickly and when she did she placed Sevina on her bed. Cecilia then turned to her human form and quickly got some herbs to help heal her friend. Cecilia put the herbs in a bowl and mixed them together making them into a paste. She then walked over and gently took off Sevina's clothes and began to rub the paste into her wounds. As she did the wounds began to heal very quickly.

Once the paste was healing her completely she washed her hands off then went and brought out a purple and gold trim dress that she had made for Sevina. She dressed her in it and goes, "there with some rest you shall be all better." Cecilia was the oldest person there. In fact she had seen many things for many centuries. She knew lots about all kinds of creatures, especially about dragons, wolves, angels and demons, since she happened to be all four. She just was mainly in her wolf or dragon form.

Seren then pulled her away from Sevina and goes, "you are the courageous one, the one that we look to to unify us all." Cecilia then goes, "that has not been decided. Sevina is the one to decide that since she is the one that is destined to be the courageous ones best friend. This decision is not mine." Seren was getting mad and goes, "but you have to be that person, you didn't think twice before helping Sevina when she needed and know the most about all creatures then the rest of us." Cecilia then goes arguing back, "because I do this little thing called Research. It is something you do to learn about things. You should try it sometime. Look this conversation is done." Cecilia was not wanting to be the courageous one unless destiny truely showed she was this. She felt it was Sevina's decision on who was this and she wasn't going to change her mind.

Seren walked outside angry at Cecilia for being right. She hated it when Cecilia was right.

Sevina looked back and forth between the two and watched as Seren walked out the door mad. "Seren, come back. never walk away mad, it only leads to fights and hurt feelings later." she then looks at Cecilia. "and no, I'm really nothing special, especcially not one of the ones from the Old Legends, at least I don't think so." she hugs Cecilia then races after Seren and drags her back in. "now no fighting, it's not healthy. how about you tell me, what's flying like?"

Seren then feels her being dragged back inside and goes, "it is the most free fleeing that you can ever feel. The wind is in your face, you can cover more grown then you could normally. What you are to tell me you have never flown?" Seren said shocked.

Cecilia then goes, "I know of the old legends." She then pulled out a book and opens it up, "the old legends has many stories that prophesize many things. But, I think this is the one we want." She then begins to read from the book, "one day there will be a girl, who has dark brown hair, the color of dark red cedar-oak wood, and eyes like dark shining amethyst. her skin is pale snow-cream colored white. she wears, normally, a forest greed light dress normally seen in summer all year long; this dress of woven from woody root fibers strung out and spun together." It says that "she will be the best friend of the courageous one. That she will keep the courageous one grounded when times get too overwhelming for them. She is the voice that brings calmness to all and all around." She then looked up at Servina and goes, "from the way I look of things Servina you look just like the girl described here or am I completely missing something." She said smiling at her.

Seren then goes, "see Cecilia you have to be the courageous one. You are the only one around with this knowledge and the oldest one alive during this time." Cecilia rolled her eyes and sighed and goes, "I will only believe it when Servina herself tells me that nothing else.

Servina raises one eyebrow. "if I'm the one person thingie's friend, then one of you had better be the courageous one. I can't do this alone. and no, I have never flown. I have never even shifted to my dragon form, I don't know what it looks like." she eyed the other like 'SOMEONE HELP ME THIS IS EMBERRASSinG!!!!'

Cecilia then goes, "first off who said you would be alone. Secondly, fine I am the courageous one." She said not really wanting to be knowing that she was Servina's best friend after all, even though she was much older then her.

Cecilia then goes, "need something to help transform I think I got that." She then went to her jewelry box and pulled out a gray mesh bag. Cecilia then walked over and goes, "wear this necklace it is an old dragon crystal that helps new dragons learn to transform into their dragon forms. It will stay on you until you are ready to do it on your own. Then it will disappear and return to me." She said handing it to her.

Cecilia missed her fiance, Takahiro Masashi, and hoped that he would return home soon. Seren then goes, "so where is this man that you are suppose to marry?" Cecilia didn't say a word and goes, "he will be here when he gets here. I do not own my soon to be husband." She then turned to Servina and goes, "he is the last of the black dragons like I am the last of the white dragons. You will like him I am sure Servina. Seren was a little jealous at how Cecilia had a man and she didn't. She just didn't realize that it took her a long time to find the one she has now. He is what helps keep her balanced.

"I am sure I will, and thank you." Sevina shifts to a dragon form that is a light blue fresh fallen snow color color, and in the moonlight her scales glow with a purple tint. her eyes remain the dark amethyst purple, and seem to glow with amethyst crystal light.

Cecilia and Seren then goes, "your beautiful" at the same time. Cecilia grabs a mirror an goes, "take a look" She said showing Servina what she looked like as a dragon.
